Wait for DDA Housing Scheme Results Over
Finally, the wait of all the applicants of DDA’s flagship scheme is over, as the draw of lots is going to be held today. Initially, the tentative date for holding the draw of lots was scheduled for November 10, the date was later postponed to November 12 and then to November 14 after which the date was postponed indefinitely due to technical glitches.

A total of 10,08,700 applications have been received by the DDA for its ambitious 2014 Housing Scheme which was launched on September 1. The Housing Authority has been conducting several trail runs to ascertain its preparedness but it was facing certain technical glitches which lead to delay in holding the draw of lots. The mock draws were taking several hours to complete as the system was unable to process all the data together.
The Housing Authority for the first time has planned to webcast the entire draw of lots event live on YouTube. DDA had run a test to ascertain its preparedness to avoid any technical glitches later on. The draw of lots will be webcast live at 11:30 am after randomization of the data. The draw of lots will be complete in about two hours time.
