Real estate is an important sector of Indian economy. Indian real estate market has been on a high growth momentum ever since it was opened to 100% FDI. The sector has seen several real estate companies emerge as leaders and powerful brands in the industry backed by strong professional management teams. Realty markets across country have grown significantly but south real estate markets that include Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi have seen tremendous growth over the last few years driven largely by a highly mobile IT workforce.

After holding eight successful editions of this international summit, FICCI is now focusing on regional realty markets. It is organizing the first region focused South India Real Estate Conference (SIREC) 2012 on 3rd August, 2012 at Hotel ITC Windsor, Bengaluru. SIREC 2012 will be organized on the theme “Re-orienting real estate through smart concepts and technologies”.
SIREC 2012 is an initiative of FICCI to create a platform in south to discuss latest concepts, trends, technologies, knowledge updates and policy issues that can influence the business of real estate in the region. It will also open a new medium of communication between the stakeholders in south real estate and FICCI to work together for a concerted action for the growth of the sector in the country.
SIREC 2012 will deliberate on topics like building smart in the 21st century, latest technology for intelligent buildings, creating customer delight through smart concepts like Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in real estate, successful marketing strategies for real estate business and tips on creating and retaining a pool of talented work force. The conference will have workshops on topics like final guidance note on the revenue recognition for real estate developers and direct and indirect tax in real estate. FICCI invites the industry to join this event to listen to some of the best talented speakers and get enlightened on the modern concepts that will drive real estate business in coming time.
