RBI keeps repo rate unchanged

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday announced that it will keep key interest rates unchanged. This move has disappointed real estate players who were hoping for a reduction in repo rates which would have translated into lower rates for borrowers. RBI Surprises With a Repo Rate Cut

In another surprise move the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a second rate cut of 25 basis point cut in its benchmark interest rates, outside the regular policy review.
